EA announces new feature for FIFA 11, personality+.
A Sports is putting a little personality into its venerable soccer franchise. The publisher officially announced FIFA 11 early June, highlighting Personality+, a feature EA says will add a new level of authenticity to every player in the game, on and off the ball. EA Sports announced the game through the official FIFA 11 web site, stating that Personality+ would distinguish individual footballers from one another and bring star players’ unique abilities to life in the game. ”Personality+ is the evolution of individual distinctiveness that sees a footballer’s abilities on the pitch mirrored authentically in our game, creating individual personalities in FIFA 11,” said Executive Producer Kaz Makita. “We have reached a level of sophistication within our game engine where footballers in our game will behave and perform as true individuals.” Lionel Messi will change direction at pace, Kaka will deliver crisp, creative passes, and Wayne Rooney will hold off defenders to open space and deliver powerful strikes. Every player in the game is being evaluated and graded based on 36 attributes and 57 traits in order deliver on the promise of Personality+. EA also described the new Pro Passing feature coming to FIFA 11, a system that determines pass accuracy based on a gamer’s ability on the control pad, player skill, and the situation and urgency on the pitch. The publisher describes it as a “deeply rewarding” passing system. New body types and player models will further add to the authenticity of each footballer when FIFA 11 arrives on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS and PSP this fall. The name says it all, especially content wise…

Let’s be honest with each other: Style matters. No, it’s not the only important thing in a game — gameplay is king, always — but we can’t pretend the look or sound or “vibe” of a game is irrelevant. It matters. Graphics matter. I say this because one of the undeniable draws of LittleBigPlanet is its style. A big part the game’s appeal is the charming look of a tiny stuffed character working its way through a big, homespun world. But discounting its substance would be a grave error, because beneath this cute, quirky, polished exterior lurks a very clever puzzle-based platformer that strikes just the right balance of challenge and reward. This is a game charming enough to lure in casual players while still being complex enough to give experienced gamers a way to exercise those finely honed skills. This game has all new levels, clever ones, more portable friendly challenges, and every bit as charming as the original. On the down side of things is the too powerful level editor and load times are a bit excessive. We give this game a 4.5 stars out of 5.
These two numb skulls again, oh brother!!
Here we go again with yet another sequel. Army of Two: The 40th Day is about two character, Salem and Rios, these guys find themselves in Shanghai, China in the midst of a man made catastrophe of epic proportions. These two have some new co-op moves since there last time. Salem and Rios do lack some depth to them as there really is no story line behind them and the player just does not have any kind of connection with them however, the new aggro feature allows for one to take on the enemies attention so that the other one can easily move around, great teamwork opportunity here. EA did add the ability to purchase weapon upgrades at any time in the game, that is definitely a plus. Still no matter how much teamwork seems to help the game it still just seems to be mediocre. We give it a 2.5 stars out of 5.
Shin Megami Tensei just keeps getting better and better!
If you ever want to play an awesome JRPG(Japanese Role Playing Game) Shin Megami Tensei:Persona 3 Portable is the one you want to be playing. This game has an awesome story to it and the game play matches the story line, it is simply bad-ass. In this game by day you are a normal high school teenager and at night you are fighting shadows. There is nothing else I can tell you but, play the game and see for yourself how good it is. We give it 4 stars out of 5.
Tennis anyone? Well pull out your PSP!
I always liked Virtual Tennis on any console, actually would play it in the break room of College religiously. Those 25 cents would go a long way for me back then. I would normally play a certain character because he was a jack of all trades in the game. I always wanted to be able to some how customize the character and guess what? Now I could so do that. Hot Shots Tennis allows character customization, some cool unlockables, and even hidden characters. Anyone can jump right in and start playing this game but, for those advanced players there are certain angles to consider as well as joystick moves that will make the ball closer to the net or closer to the back line. As well as timing to get those power hits. So get your game now and start playing with friends.
