Minor issues but, decent Soccer game for DS.
Hit the streets with your favourite players and show you’ve got the skills to hit the big time. FIFA Soccer 11 delivers a fresh new way to play on Wii with over-the-top street & indoor soccer as well as traditional 11 versus 11 matches.
‘FIFA 11 on DS has more AI issues than I’d like in my brand of soccer, but the core mechanics are still sound and that makes the game mostly enjoyable. This year’s release also comes with a nice stable of extras like a version of Ultimate Team that’s been nicely tailored to the DS and some fun mini-games to go along with mainstays like Manager Mode and Be A Pro. So while FIFA 11 is undoubtedly an enjoyable game overall, Exient needs to do some work on the AI before taking the pitch next year.’ We give it 3 stars out of 5.
This Final fantasy game is one of the RPGs you want for DS.

Final Fantasy: The 4 heroes of light is epic!
‘There are a number of good RPGs on the DS recently, so gamers have their pick. But The 4 Heroes of Light is definitely a contender for your money. It’s got a simple battle system that is strengthened by its high level of character customization and constant need for strategic planning. The style is really unique and fresh, the story is lengthy, and the characters are charming (even if the plot is a bit weak). At times it feels too focused on level grinding, and it’s hard to get into if you’re expecting a standard RPG, but it’s the nonstandard qualities that ultimately make it shine.’ We give it a 4 stars out of 5.

It seems that Professor Layton has done it again. Mixing a charming, beautiful art style with engaging puzzle types and an engrossing story that ties it all together, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future makes a fine addition to the series. If you love the gentlemanly professor, or haven’t tried one of the games yet but love solving puzzles, you’ll want to pick up the Unwound Future.

So many Spider-men! :D
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is an action-packed adventure encompassing four dramatically different parallel universes, each with its own Spider-Man armed with unique strengths. Each stunning universe has its own detailed art design and thrilling gameplay with challenging skill sets to master in order to unlock powerful new moves. Explore dramatic, stunning environments, wield explosive new powers, and face epic boss battles against extraordinary foes. Experience the legendary Super Hero like never before: Four unique worlds. Four distinct Spider-Men. One unparalleled experience! Groundbreaking gameplay lets you deal damage in a variety of ways with four unique Spider-Man characters, two of which have been announced: Amazing Spider-Man – This most recognizable, acrobatic Spider-Man delivers innovative web combat and dynamic visuals in a world that pays tribute to the classic era of our legendary Super Hero. Spider-Man Noir – The cunning and clandestine Spider-Man utilizes the shadows to perform stealth takedowns in this 1930’s-influenced black-and-white cinematic environment.
This game has The Amazing Spiderman, Ultimate Spiderman, Noir Spidey, and Spiderman 2099. They are each in seperate dimensions, so it really helps to have the game play be the same over and over. Each one has different abilities and you will notice that each world looks different. The story is not that great but the challenges will keep you playing the game. New changes in the game are great however the game still has some of the old issues Spiderman games have had in the past. The boss battles are great but, still has some really dumb gameplay at times. Great thing is has lots of different Spider-men and the levels looks great. The bad part is the repetitiveness of saving lame people and some camera angles are just really awkward. We give this game a 4 stars out of 5.
Cute, sleepy time!
Pillowed on a pile of leaves in the middle of a dark forest a baby bird is breaking out of a curious egg. Her bright orange head and beak poke out the top of a polka dot shell and she cries for her mother. The forest animals watch her curiously, but apart from them there is no one to claim her. Still trapped in the shell except for her head and feet, Ivy begins walking through the forest calling out for her mother. She meets many other kinds of birds but none are like her and she wanders searchingly for traces of her kind until she finds a glowing red feather. With a clue now in beak Ivy sets out to follow the trail that will lead her to her mother. Ivy the Kiwi? is an action/puzzle game created by Yuji Naka, creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, that stars a baby bird as she navigates through a series of 2-D side-view landscapes. Ivy runs back and forth independent of the player and can be guided by the use of vines, which are drawn and controlled using the DS stylus or Wii Remote. The player can use these vines to herd Ivy forward or lift her up stairs, carry her over walls and past spikes or other dangers. Multiple vines can be created at a time and they can be pulled and stretched like a slingshot to propel Ivy skyward to launch her as a projectile to drill through barriers and enemies as the player helps guide her home through 100 challenging stages.
The graphics of this game is a cute hand-drawn style that border on murky. The music fits the cuteness of it all. The timing of drawing the lines and the limits of vines creates a frustrating balance. This game is not that entertaining and the second part sort of get entertaining. We give this one a 3 out of 5 stars.
This time the professor and Luke go back in time, to solve mysteries
So Luke gets a letter from his future self, and this is just one of the many mysteries will have to be solved. The duo head off to London to see this time machine, invented by a Dr. Alain Strahngun. Of course the presentation goes bad, and now Luke must follow directions that were given by his future self to see where it all leads.
If you have played the series before you will feel right at home with the one. You still navigate with the stylus by tapping on the shoe in the corner, and you click around the touch screen to find coins, talk to people, and solve puzzles. New is a super hint that costs two hint coins if you want the answer to the puzzle once you’ve exhausted your three initial clues. Helps as long as you have the coins to spare. So no more resetting the game if you’re wanting to get the maximum number of picarats.
The first few puzzles were fairly easy, ranging from 10 to 20 picarats. As usual, they test your critical thinking ability, but really, sometimes it’s about reading the question carefully and finding the right approach. We look forward to playing more of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, and we’ll be able to soon when the game is released September sometime. We give it a 4 stars out of 5.
Again Cosmigo comes out with yet another good DsiWare game
Mahjong has been and ancient Chinese game played with four players and of course there is always the variation of that originial game. Mahjong involves skill, strategy, and calculation, as well as a certain degree of luck. This particular variation of this game is the American one and it certainly is a good one. So you don’t have to worry about confusing Chinese character on the tiles, there character are more identifiable American numbers and letters. This game has 50 different starting patterns, what that means for you is that it will keep you entertained for a very long time.
Have you ever played solitaire and end up getting stuck and not having any more moves so you have to start the game? Isn’t that just a plain waste of time and sometimes frustrating? Well fear not, Cosmigo has fixed that here, they made it so that you can shuffle the tiles if you get to a point where you are stuck. The 3D effect is just that an effect, it does not help the playability much, actually hinders it at times but, still pretty cool. We recommend you get your Nintendo points and get this title for your Nintendo DS. We give it a 4 stars out of 5.
